I’m the drummer in the Blacklist, and I’m only in New York City for the huge holiday charity gala. My plan is to zip in, make my appearances with the band, then jet off to Hawaii.
But there’s been a bit of a mix up. I’m staying in our lead singer Ash’s apartment. But his wife also gave her BFF a key.
Now I’m sharing an apartment for a week with a tattooed, curvaceous siren hell-bent on busting my balls.
She’s not impressed that I’ve been on the cover of Rolling Stone. Twice.
She’s not falling for the lines I usually don’t even have to use.
Sometimes the holidays get a little crazy. There's what you plan, and then there’s what happens. And some presents are too damn good not to unwrap…
Unwrapped is a hot, stand-alone novella romance with NO cheating, no cliffhanger, and a guaranteed HEA! It’s also the sixth book in the Beg for It series, featuring spin-off characters associated with the Kavanaugh family. Bonus content included!

5 starsLoved it! I have to say that I loved both Jack and Hannah and thoroughly enjoyed their story. This is the first story I've read by this author and I am planning to try more of her work in the future.
FYI, on my Kindle, this story ended at the 58% mark.
Hannah is a clothing designer that lives in Oregon. She's curvy with a strong personality and doesn't let anyone push her around, especially men. Hannah is concentrating on her career right now and has a "one-and-done" rule when it comes to men.
Jack Miller is the real name of Johnny Knox, the drummer for a huge rock band named Blacklist. Blacklist became popular when Jack was 18 and has continued to be big over the past 12 years. Jack got into the perks of fame (women and such) for a few years but has become bored with it in recent years.
So Hannah is BFFs with the wife of one of the rich guys putting on this charity function (for Foster kids) and she asked Hannah to be the designer for all the a-list celebrities coming to the event. Jack and his band have been asked to play at the event and participate in some other promotional stuff. Jack and Hannah meet when he shows up for a fitting. There's a strong attraction between them and Jack is all about acting on it but Hannah figures that someone that's been a rock star for 12 years must be a jerk and pushes him away. Jack's determined though and lets her know he'll be pursuing her.
It seems that fate is being kind though because that evening, they find that they were both given the keys to the same apartment to use during the event. This gives Jack a chance to woo Hannah and he makes good use of it. There is an issue with Hannah's one-and-done rule but thankfully, she doesn't use that as an unreasonable shield for long and she and Jack are able to explore things between them. The story takes place over the space of a week and Hannah and Jack take that time to enjoy each other...which quickly turns into something more serious (it is a bit of an insta-love story). There's a little drama when someone tries to cause trouble between Hannah and Jack but it didn't last long and the way Jack won Hannah back was priceless! In the end, Jack and Hannah are happy and heading towards a very Merry Christmas (and HEA) together.
I just loved this story. TBH, I didn't think I was going to like this story as much as I did but I was very pleasantly surprised. Hannah was a strong woman that didn't let her strength interfere with happiness and I liked her a lot. Jack was such a sweety and I just loved him (he got added to my book-boyfriend list). Overall, the characters and story were great, sucking me in and completely engaging me in the story. I'd definitely recommend this Christmas romance. :D

Unwrapped A Rockstar Christmas Novella edition by Callie Harper Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
The story was ok. I liked Hannah personality. However I feel bit cheated as the book was too short and suplemeted by chapters from different novel.
Wow! The story of Jack an Hannah is just a continuation of an absolutely wonderful beg for it series! A must read! I really wish it would of been longer.
Another insanely hot book by Callie Harper! It is filled with intense chemistry between the characters and excellent writing! Loved getting to catch up with some of my favorite characters too!
Callie Harper did a great job on this book. It's well written. Loved Jack and Hannah together. Great chemistry. Sexy. Love how obsessed Jack is over Hannah and how feisty Hannah is. This is a great story. Many emotions while reading this book. I enjoyed it. I recommend it. Thank you, Callie Harper. Great work )
Hannah is a confident, sexy designer. She doesn’t need a messy romance. Then she meets Johnny Knox, the drummer from The Blacklist. He’s attentive, direct and he has the rhythm Hannah has always wondered about. They fall fast and hard for each other. It is not a straight line to love, there are misunderstandings that threaten them, but that makes the story all the better.
I discovered Callie Harper’s writing this year and plan to ring in the new year with her great characters.
I am a huge fan of all of Callie Harper's books and this is NO exception. Callie does it again with well written, complex and likable characters. Jack and Hannah are perfect for each other. Of course there are a few minor bumps on their way to their HEA but that is what makes the journey so much fun. Jack is sweet. From the moment he meets Hannah he knows his world will be turned upside down. Hannah is feisty, strong and independent. I love when the female characters are not shrinking violets and stand up for themselves and embrace how strong they are. Hannah is no exception. It was also great to catch up with some of the Kavanaugh Family Members from Callie's previous books.
